The story behind "Jesus, I Trust In You"
“Jesus, I Trust In You” was inspired by and dedicated to the band members’ three siblings, Joshua Miriam Job (2021), Jacinto Angel Marya (2022), and Jacob Mystical Rose (2023), all of whom tragically died in their mother’s womb through miscarriage.
The song was written to give hope and comfort to anyone feeling alone and to show them how much they are deeply loved and cared about by God. Jesus truly does care and is always with those who are experiencing profound loss and sorrow.
The efficacious prayer,“Jesus, I Trust In You,” in the song comes from the Divine Mercy Chaplet given by Jesus to St. Faustina to encourage people to trust in God’s infinite goodness, mercy, and love, for He can transform any evil into good (Genesis 50:20).

Our History
Playing for the first time as a band in 2020, Love for Love serenaded their grandmother, Evelyn, on her 70th birthday as she looked down outside of her front door from her balcony. Since then, Love for Love has been playing regularly for the Maris Stella Institute’s 2021 Graduation Reception, at various churches, community and family events, and to specific individuals, reminding them of God’s great love for them and His great thirst for them to love Him in return. They released their first song, “Jesus, I Trust In You,” in early 2024. Love for Love hopes to continue serving the community by providing beautiful, inspiring, and & faith-filled music reflective of God’s deep and abiding, loving, and real presence in their midst. The Love for Love band name was inspired by the quote by St. Therese of Lisieux, "Love can only be repaid by love."
